Direct Spring Safety Valves

Direct Spring Safety Valves

Crosby H Series Direct Spring Safety Valves provide comprehensive overpressure protection for ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code Section I, and Section VIII steam safety applications. H-Series direct spring-operated safety valves are the proven solution for comprehensive overpressure protection on steam safety applications including economizers, steam drums, superheaters, reheaters and more. They have ASME/NB certified capacities for steam, are Set and tested on steam, have a Full nozzle flanged option, offer Restricted lift for customized capacity, have Long service life with Low maintenance.

The Crosby HSJ safety valve is a full nozzle, reaction-type valve engineered for saturated and superheated steam applications, including use on drums, superheater outlets, reheater inlets and outlets, and economizers. It features the FLEXI-DISC® seat design, which enhances sealing performance by allowing pressure and temperature equalization across the seat, ensuring a flat, tight seal. This design improves operating efficiency and reliability, especially under high-temperature conditions. The HSJ valve is built for durability and ease of maintenance, with Emerson offering comprehensive support including spare parts, field service, and training programs to ensure optimal performance and safety.
