An equal opportunity employer of long standing, Lakeside’s strength has been built on a foundation of attracting the best talent available from the diverse populations of Canada.

Lakeside understands the importance of an effective on-boarding process. We seek to integrate employees into our organization immediately, recognizing that employees need to feel welcomed and that they are contributing members of the team as soon as possible.

All new hires receive a welcome email prior to their first day, which will provide all the details needed to have a productive first day. Upon arrival, you will receive a personal tour of the building, a welcome package with essential company and position specific details, and formal introductions to your team. You will also be taken out to have lunch with your manager!

Lakeside is committed to working with a variety of Universities and Colleges throughout Ontario and Manitoba to support both Co-operative and Internship programs (for 4, 8 , 12 or 16 months) in a variety of fields:

  • Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, and Mechatronics)
  • Human Resources
  • Marketing
  • Logistics
  • Office Administration
  • Information Technology
Students are provided with the opportunity to immerse themselves into a professional work environment and gain valuable insight into their field. Many of our students have been hired by Lakeside upon graduating, as full-time employees.

In 2019, Lakeside was invited by McMaster University to attend the annual Faculty of Engineering Applause and Accolades Awards Gala. During this wonderful event, Lakeside was awarded with the 2018/2019 Employer of Excellence Award which recognized three large and three SME organizations who have hired the greatest volume of McMaster Engineering Co-op students over the past five academic years!

If you are interested in joining our team as a co-op/intern, please keep an eye out for recruitment ads on your College or University school job boards. Also remember that Lakeside actively does participate and attends local schools for career fairs and industry nights!
