Micro Motion® 820 Electronics
rosemount-820-1-front
The 820 Electronics module is the right fit for the fuel measurement application and has Emersons Adaptive Consumption Measurement software added.
This electronics module allows for two flow meters to be connected to a single source and therefore provides a 4 to 1 reduction in electronic components. This solution improves the signal processing speed between the supply and return measurement points, ensuring an accurate instantaneous consumption calculation.

Features

  • The design provides an exceptional combination of accuracy and reliability.
  • Contains a security lockout switch to provide physical and software security.
  • All the serviceable electronics are in the 820 enabling flexibility regarding installation locations.
  • The 820 electronics are targeted for marine fuel consumption applications including main engines, auxiliary engines, boilers, among others.
  • Supports the patented Adaptive Consumption Measurement Software, which provides an accurate differential measurement at all times.
  • The service port makes it possible to perform diagnostics and configuration without loss on measurement.
  • Through the Adaptive Consumption Measurement software, the 820 transmitter eliminates the need for secondary control system to determine consumption in engine systems. With the multi-variable Coriolis measurement the software allows for flexibility with output units, mass or volumetric units, eliminating the need for complex conversions.
  • Replaces both transmitters and combines both core processors in a single device, reducing installation time, cables and footprint.
  • Reduces installation complexity.
  • System can operate and measure accurately with dual fuel systems. There is no need to adjust the measurement system during fuel switching processes.
  • Live density measurements and outputs can be used to support Fuel usage and reporting.
