Flexim FLUXUS ADM8X27 SIL F Non-Intrusive Ultrasonic Flow Meter
The FLUXUS SIL F ADM8X27 non-intrusive ultrasonic flow meters are SIL-rated, functional safety approved.
As the wetted parts of inline measuring devices are not subject to the Failure Mode Effects and Diagnostics Analysis (FMEDA), they are not included in the scope of certification - presenting a safety risk. The SIL 2 certification of the FLUXUS non-intrusive flow meter includes the entire measuring system -the measuring transmitters and transducers. It also includes the patented WaveInjector mounting fixture for extreme temperatures, allowing the non-intrusive flow measurement at liquid temperatures from as low as -275 °F up to +1100 °F. Flexim also offers special radiation-resistant transducers for use in the nuclear industry.
