Lakeside Process Controls Ltd., a Local Business Partner of Emerson Process Management has once again been named as one of Canada’s Best Workplaces by the Great Place to Work Institute®. The Great Place to Work Institute is a global research, consulting and training firm that helps organizations identify, create and sustain great workplaces through the development of high-trust workplace cultures. In-depth, cross-company survey results were the major factor in achieving this significant placement for Lakeside. The program also evaluated the various processes and procedures that employers use to create and maintain employee engagement.
Up 8 positions from their placement on last year’s list, Lakeside ranked 14th amongst small and medium-sized employers. Other companies recognized in this program include Google Canada, Microsoft Canada, Edmonton Oilers Hockey Club and Starbucks. This list, published in the April 19th edition of The Globe and Mail showcases the best of the best when it comes to workplace excellence and people management practices.
