Background
Pickering Nuclear Generation Station was commissioned in 1973(Station A)/1986(Station B) and Darlington Nuclear Generation Station in 1993. Primary (Nuclear) Side and Secondary (Steam) Side systems have many components. It's important to have good knowledge about how this equipment works, since it's not always possible to have a look during a Planned Outage, and which equipment is still available in the market, due to the Obsolescence challenge. During regular operation, when a component starts giving warning signs of failure, it's important to start thinking about maintenance, which may require component replacement, to avoid any serious issues down the road.
