Non-intrusive Flow Survey Non-intrusive Flow Survey

Get non‑intrusive, high‑accuracy flow data without process interruption. Book your FLEXIM Flow Survey with Lakeside’s experts, serving Ontario & Manitoba.

Lakeside’s FLEXIM Flow Survey is a turnkey, non-intrusive clamp‑on ultrasonic measurement service for liquids and gases. Expert technicians install portable sensors on the outside of your pipe—no cutting, tapping, or process interruption—to capture accurate, time‑stamped flow data for verification, troubleshooting, commissioning, and project planning. The service includes onsite setup, onboard data logging, and a full post‑survey report summarizing methods, findings, and recommendations.
Evaluate Inline Equipment Performance
Control valves, pumps, compressors, and heat exchangers can cause hidden inefficiencies. Without real-time flow insights, root causes remain unclear.
Verify Existing Flowmeters
Is the meter faulty, or has the process changed? Without verification, decisions can stall and efficiency suffers.
Lack of Instrumentation in Critical Areas
Upgrades, expansions, or troubleshooting often require flow data where no permanent meter exists.
Downtime when a Primary Flowmeter Fails
Waiting for repairs or replacements can disrupt operations. Customers need a fast, reliable backup to keep processes running using our portable 4-20 mA unit.

FLEXIM delivers the data you need—fast, flexible, and without process interruption.

Because FLEXIM is completely non‑intrusive, there’s no safety or leakage risk and minimal permitting or downtime. Lakeside’s technicians handle the setup end‑to‑end, so teams get actionable data quickly without diverting maintenance resources or halting the process.
Measurement Capabilities

Measurement Capabilities

  • High‑accuracy flow measurement for liquids and gases with professional configuration and calibration performed onsite. Data are recorded continuously on the FLEXIM transmitter and exported for analysis.

  • Works through almost any pipe material: metals, alloys, plastics, rubbers, concrete, and GRP/FRP

  • Wide line size coverage: Lakeside’s current transducer inventory supports ~1″ to 144″ as standard; with other available transducers, FLEXIM meters can cover ~0.5″ to 255″.

  • Short or long‑term recording: battery operation (≈18 hours) for short studies, or plugged‑in for extended campaigns.

  • Hazardous area options are available with FLEXIM’s Class I, Div. 2 / ATEX / IECEx Zone 2 portable series, making the survey viable in classified environments (subject to job‑specific review).
