The iQpump605 is Yaskawa’s next-generation intelligent pump VFD, designed to simplify commissioning, improve energy efficiency, and provide comprehensive pump/motor protection across irrigation, booster, lift-station, and municipal water applications.


It builds on the proven iQpump1000 platform with guided setup, mobile connectivity, and robust enclosure options for indoor/outdoor use.

  • Pump-Centric Commissioning: Step-by-step setup wizard with plain pump terminology (PSI, GPM, feet) and presets for submersible/above-ground systems to minimize startup time.
  • HOA Keypad & Display: Hand-Off-Auto keypad with bright, sunlight-resistant screen and dedicated function keys for quick navigation; onboard data logging with timestamps.
  • Protection & Reliability: Loss-of-prime/dry-run protection, programmable low-flow cutout, and soft-fill to reduce water hammer; conformal-coated boards and built-in line impedance for long service life and reduced harmonics.
  • Efficiency & Control: PID maintains setpoint while automatically adjusting speed to match demand, keeping the pump near its best efficiency point and reducing wear/energy use.
  • Connectivity & Tools: Optional Bluetooth keypad for DriveWizard Mobile + Drive Cloud; PC DriveWizard iQpump SCADA for programming, trending, and performance; Application Simulator, Energy Savings Predictor, and Harmonics Estimator.
